Waste removal
The only waste we have from installing your garden calisthenics equipment is from the holes we dig. We don’t know exactly what the waste will be until we start digging, but it’s usually soil, clay or rocks. Whether or not you should choose to have us remove the waste can depend on your garden and if you have other work going on.
If you choose yes: We will bag up and take all of the waste with us. This will then be taken to a recycle centre to dispose of it.
If you choose no: Any waste will be carefully left in your garden. We do not leave a big pile of soil next to your installation; we will do one of the following:
- if the soil is good and you have greenery in the garden, we can scatter the soil amongst any bushes or plants.
- if you have planters that need filling or topping up, we can put the good soil in here and separate the rest.
- if you have other construction work going on and already have a skip on site, we can put our waste here.
To get an idea of how much waste we will have, each hole that we dig will leave one builders bucket worth (equivalent of 3 small bags).
What would we recommend?
It depends on your garden, but as general advice, we would recommend saying no if it’s a smaller job and/or you have a large garden where soil can discreetly be scattered. For larger installations or if you have a garden with artificial grass, it may be worth having us take the waste away.
